The movie centres around Brinsley Forde's character Blue. He fronts a reggae sound system based in South West London (Brixton). The film captures the trials and tribulations of young black youths in troubled London in the early eighties.

Q&A: Avril Nanton
Avril Nanton is a qualified London tour guide and Black history historian, offering lectures and tours on Black history in the London area. She founded Avril’s Walks and Talks in 2016 and is one of the few Black female Black History tour specialists in the UK. Avril is also a director of the Jane Duffield Bursary Trust, which supports aspiring tour guides. In 2021, she co-authored Black London: History, Art & Culture in over 120 Places, which gained media attention, including a feature on ITV London.
