London's Screen Archives and The New Black Film Collective presents -
NEWHAM ARCHIVES & COLLECTIONS LIBRARY TOUR WITH JESS CONWAY
Thousands of items dating back several centuries are held at Newham Archives & Local Studies Library. Join borough archivist Jess Conway for an intimate tour of the collections, taking in everything from the reading room to the temperature-controlled strong room.
As well as learning how the archive works, you will have the chance to view a wide range of material relating to Newham’s history including film, photography, maps, and other material.
Upon arrival at Stratford Library, head up to the first floor where the entrance to the reading room is located. Please speak to library staff should you require assistance in locating the room.
